I didn't say that
Public relations is a profession of hearings, explanations & links. Speaking the same language means not how clever you are but how well you can explain your knowledge to the audience you talk. What was your last "I didn't say that", "the took this out of context" or "they didn't understand me" moment? The first time speaker always meets this no matter how well he or she knows the subject. The problem of misunderstanding is still in a speaker, not the listener. So the speaker always needs tune-up a language. If you do not know or feel the listener - short is always better than long ;) Today's quote author is Russell Conwell Hoban, an 🇺🇸 expatriate writer.
